These tools help smooth out hard-to-reach areas on shirts, trousers, or dresses without leaving creases: Sleeve board (sleeve press): A very narrow, long ironing board inserted into shirt or blouse sleeves to smooth them without unsightly creases. Pressing cushion (tailor’s ham): A firmly stuffed cushion (often made of cotton and sawdust) over which you drape areas like shoulders or darts to perfectly press out curved shapes. Pressing glove: A heat-resistant glove that allows you to hold the garment against your body or in your hand and smooth it from the inside. Pressing net/cloth: A thin, heat-resistant cloth placed over delicate fabrics (such as silk or dark suits) as a protective layer to prevent shiny spots or scorch marks. 2. Ironing aids in the form of sprays: Ironing aids (also known as ironing sprays) are liquid products sprayed onto laundry before ironing. They soften the fibers, allowing the iron to glide more easily over the fabric and helping wrinkles disappear faster. Unlike traditional laundry starch, the fabric remains soft and flexible.
